Quotes from Spencer Boyd before the race:

At COTA: “Our No. 12 The Derm Dude™ Chevrolet Silverado RST looks great and is ready to work at Circuit of the Americas this weekend. I love Texas and any chance to race there motivates me.

“COTA has its own challenges and the No. 12 team and I are ready to meet them. Ready for the weekend.

“I love the challenges of road racing and hope to give the Young’s Motorsports team another strong finish to keep our 2022 season in the right direction.”

On Derm Dude™ Partnership: “We have great things planned with this partnership. I already have a beard. I always work my body. So, the last piece of the puzzle is a tattoo.

“That’s right, I’m getting a NASCAR victory sticker tattooed to commemorate my first victory and Derm Dude will be there to document it. Add to that a killer paint scheme on amazing race tracks and we have the formula for a really fun season with Derm Dude.
